This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. They are different from the chains and have wonderful specials. Go early because it gets crowded. We wish they’d take reservations, but it’s worth the wait.
We are “regulars” at El Azteca. We have never had a mediocre meal. The Camerones Ajillo are very good, as are the specials, chicken cantina & the guacamole. The margheritas are fabulous. All the staff have great personalities and are attentive. The place makes one feel cheerier just being there.
I don’t know a single Californian who thinks decent Mexican food exists east of Denver. But there are several locally-owned restaurants with a good mix of Tex-Mex and more-refined Mexican dishes.
El Azteca in Clarksville is a great choice. Inside, the dining room and bar are each outfitted with tile, art and solid, casual tables. This is a real restaurant, not a chain where they’re just melting bags of shredded cheese over chips or tortillas.
This would be where you'd write something about yourself and/or your weblog. Tell everyone what a swell guy or gal you are. Nothing major just a teaser to make 'em giggle.

As a connoisseur of Mexican food, this restaurant ranks up near the top of my list for the atmosphere and the menu.
